B2 Architecture Group was founded in 2016 to harness architecture's ability to positively impact the social and physical environment we live in. With collectively over 50+ years of experience in both the private and public sector, we have a track record of designing thoughtful and innovative projects. We offer full architectural services from the inception of a project to it's completion. B2 Architecture Group believes in achieving the highest quality architectural design through close and thoughtful collaboration with our clients and the consultants we work with.

Yuri Birchwood-Fuentes, AIA

Yuri Birchwood‐Fuentes is a New York State licensed architect. As a native New Yorker, he sees architecture as a powerful means to contribute to the improvement of both the physical and social environment of New Yorkers and global citizens as a whole. Yuri has been a public architect for over 9 years. He works closely with Design Excellence architects to develop highly effective public buildings for New York City. Yuri has worked on the design and construction of several public buildings including DSNY’s Manhattan Districts 1‐2‐5 Garage and Salt Shed, various Universal Pre‐Kindergarten sites, and multiple library renovations in Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. Yuri has a deep commitment to public service and The City of New York. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Cooper Union and his Masters of Architecture from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Lester Blackshear III, RA, LEED AP

Lester Blackshear III, a native New Yorker, has been a practicing architect in NYC for over 25 years. He has worked on a wide range of projects both in the private and public sector. Lester received his Bachelors of Architecture from the City University of New York. In addition, Lester holds an MBA from Saint Johns University.
